I know life matters to you.
We are at a crossroads. We can allow big oil companies access into the great Arctic Reserve and let them kill off wonderful wildlife or we can send The Leaders of America a clear message do not destroy our wildlife for oil! http://www.care2.com/ecards/build/6/44a4bda8abb9d
Things you should know. There are other outlets that produce oil in America and in Canada these are yet untapped outlets and no wildlife need suffer for it.
And yes, I go to the gasoline stations wanting lower gasoline prices as you do, but not at the expense of wildlife or any lives. There are better way and means to get oil, but we must stand up and say no more hurting the environment and wildlife for big oil to make even more money.
Did you know Congress just a few weeks ago decided there was no price fixing in fuel cost and yet the oil companies made 36.7 Billion dollars last year maybe even more! Does that sound like there is a lack of oil? No, It sounds like we are being lied to again. By the way Congress found there was no collusion or price fixing GO FIGURE, Just remember, my friends, that Big oil gives billions of dollars to Congress men and women which begs to question was there really no price fixing or could it be that members of Congress did not want to lose their millions of dollars and nice trips?
Billions spent on lobbying both parties and millions on a few Congress men and women each year spells higher gasoline prices for the American public. I'm sick of taking it aren't you? If so, then join me in saying no drilling in the arctic and then let us also start demanding lower fuel cost too.
If the American people start writing,e-mailing, faxing, and sending snail mail to our Senators and Representatives in DC and our Senators and Representatives in our home states plus writing to the CEOS of oil companies and forming mini boycotts, and national work stoppages every few months we could have gasoline prices back to around 1.30 a gallon! Don't believe me? Just remember the sixties, civil rights movement and other great changes that came about because of the American peoples will.
It is not that we can no longer change things it is that to many Americans have become afraid, tired, discouraged, or empathetic and don't try to make change anymore. I am not delusional nor am I idealistic it is that I love my country, my fellow Americans and I have seen brave Americans standup for what they believe in and I am such a person. I will not give up, I will not give in. I won't stop hoping that my fellow Americans will start peacefully and legally fighting back for what is just and I know others will join me in my cause, but will you be one of them?
America needs heroes again and I and our nation is counting on you.
We can lower fuel cost and make great changes in our nation if we remember that We are the We in We, The People, Of The United States Of America. Lincoln, Washington, Adams, Jefferson and millions of past American heroes stood up for change it's our turn now.
Start the change by signing this petition to say life matters to you.
