Today, October 27,2008, Senator Barack Obama stated he would lower Taxes and insure better health care and lower welfare etc. He said he would Take care of insurance companies etc. Overall, he will improve the economy As a whole. I feel Obama will lead the country with the dignity and respect We deserve. Obama will bring jobs to people and see to better education and new Technology. He will give teachers higher wages and make tuition affordable To me, Barack really shows interest and really cares about children and the Young as well as the elderly. Barack cares about working people and puts Great emphasis on the subject for Barack cares about the homeless and Unemployed. Obama said we need a better government and he will protect our financial Concerns. As president he will end the war in Iraq and promises benefits to the troops When they return home. Obama said we will have programs that work better and cost less. Obama said when down have hope and reach deep and fight the harder For it. In summary I feel Barack Obama is the right candidate for President and he Puts great emphasis on his plans and ideas showing great concern for America. I agree with him and really believe if elected will see things through as best he Can in his first term of four years. In all due respect we need a change, a serious One and Barack Obama is the man to do it for 2009 and the future. Albert Torcaso Presents his friend words of inspiration Joanie's wonderful healing words help me start the healing.

My friend Joanie Jaye, wrote to me about my dad's death and her words are words of healing and helps me to reflect on the time I spent with my father Albert R. Goldsmith.

Hey there:

There are no words to describe how deeply saddened I am due to the passing of your wonderful dad. I must tell you though that joy will flow when you remember the good times. Your father has seen the good in you and know that you are his child. He knows that you have adopted his principles and have use them to be one of the best man in history. He knows that you can handle things now, because you turned out to be what he instilled in you to be so he believes he could go on now and leave you to manage well.

it is men like you who we can say are representatives of good leadership and good role model to all other men both young and old.

Let me congratulate you for being a good steward of this century and this nation, and yes of course nations to come. It all comes down to be, because of a job so well demonstrated by a wonderful father and friend. He was remarkable and I know because you shared some of those wonderful values with me.

He has gone on before but he trained you to be a one of a kind gentleman with love honesty caring principles and a genuine nature .

Let me be the first to say heads up to you, as an honor for being the best man to be alive. It is so good that you are still passing on the good deeds of your wonderful one of a kind daddy. It is men like you who we need in this world to lead this generation, and generations to come... and it all went back to your father's dedication and love.

May his sweet angelic soul rest in sweet peace and harmony forever.

It is with great sadness that I tell you my father Albert Goldsmith has died.

It is with great sadness that I tell you my father Albert Goldsmith has died. He died at 8:50 PM Est. time he was in his own bed and Annette, Freda, and I were in the room. Freda was helping him in the bedroom and I was in the living room eating my food. I did not expect him to go tonight.

This is going to be one of the hardest times I ever go through, but I must also remember the great times we had and for the times we shared.

Albert Goldsmith had a positive affect on me and on thousands of people so many that I'll never meet all of them were I to live Three hundred years.

Here is but a few reasons that Albert Goldsmith was and will always be a blessing to humanity.

He accepted people for who they were and never rejected anyone. Who among us can say the same?

He stood up for civil rights in the sixties and even before that he marched in civil rights marches.

He befriended those who had nobody else he always had words of hope for all the people he met and he made you know that you matter.

He loved everyone and though he was a Democrat most of his life he voted for Independence, Democrats, Republicans, and Consumer party candidates when he believed them to be the best person for the job.

He even taught a former Governor’s wife.

On Humanity Matters where he co - hosted with Lenell Jones III and myself he and Lenell endorsed Barack Obama and Albert told why he favored

Barack Obama.

He taught thousands of people over his life span teaching for over sixty years and volunteered to teach anyone who asked him and never took money for it.

Then when he had his 90TH birthday I was shocked to see that he was thrown eighteen different birthday parties all over Pittsburgh and even one just outside of Harrisburg.

I'm Albert Goldsmith's son but many, many people will feel his passing and I think many tears will be shed. I know I have shed many already, but in a larger sense Albert is teaching me a few more lessons one that tells me I must keep going forward and live my life even though without dad it will be very hard.

He made sure I knew he loved me even as he was very sick he told me and others he was proud of me and called me a wonderful man. He told others and myself that the work I am doing is important, but he is the one who inspired me every day since I have known him. I am not wonderful, he is. Dad, I'll go on and try to be half as good as you, but it won't be easy for you have inspired so many and have a compassion and heart few ever have. I will try, dad, I will try my best to keep you proud of me being your son.
